PIELCU, S.L. was founded over 40 years ago by José A. Piqueras Cortijo, and started out as a manufacturer of traditional wine-skins.

In time, more articles and materials were added to the range. Being based in Albacete, the home of knife-making in Spain, it should come as no surprise that leather knife sheaths were among the first articles incorporated. Holsters and accessories for hand guns were later added, catering to demand from civilian, military and police sectors.

As new materials such as Cordura (which is strong and fireproof) appeared on the market, PIELCU incorporated them into its products, but the company never forgot its original mainstay: Spanish leather.

Following a logical progression, the next products launched by the company were accessories for hunters, from cartridge belts to sight holders, soft cases for rifles and shotguns and even saddles and rucksacks.

EIn its constant striving for technological and commercial development, PIELCU has recently introduced a new line of leather (mainly) and Cordura products aimed at the hardware sector.

From its humble origins as a small family firm, PIELCU has grown in both human and technological terms, bringing in skilled personnel and the most sophisticated production equipment on the market. From its original 80 m2 premises, the company has grown to occupy a modern, 2500 m2 site. However it still retains the touch of craftsmanship which has become a permanent part of the company's philosophy.

PIELCU has gradually earned the global prestige that comes with top quality and highly competitive prices, and the company's products are now available all over the world.
